In recent years Gillian has been closely involved with a number of major on-line financial service initiatives as well as providing consultancy services to a range of financial service providers wishing to enhance and develop their intermediary sales force.

Through developing a range of CeMAP and MAPCe courses for both lender and intermediary groups, Gillian has built up a close and highly effective working relationship with CIOBS, one of the main examining bodies and, by using their syllabus and in-house examination facility as an integral part of her training courses, has assisted her students to achieve notable examination success (so far, over 90% have passed at the first attempt).

In 1988 after 10 years experience as a teacher and Head of Departments both in the UK and abroad, Christine changed career and joined the Financial Services Industry. She now has over 20 years Financial Services experience delivering and managing both Training and Competence and, Learning and Development functions for a number of blue chip companies.

Christine has written and implemented T&C Schemes for unit trust and life assurance companies as well as IFA and direct sales organisations. She has extensive "hands on" field supervisory experience across the full product range, often maintaining her own authorisation status as a requirement of these roles.

Christine has extensive experience of design and delivery of regulated training and development. She has managed UK and regional training teams in both the IFA and direct sales environments. She was recently responsible for the successful introduction of e learning to sales, management, supervisory and head office staff for a UK wide mutual.

This combination of knowledge, skills and experience is proving invaluable in her current role as IFA Product Manager with Competent Adviser.

In 1998 he co-founded (with John Thomson - see below) Net Formation Ltd., trading as forfront.net, a specialist new media, digital technologies solutions provider who over the last 5 years have completed over 150 projects in 11 vertical markets and in multiple languages. One of their largest projects is the Global Internet portal, Chemextra servicing 147 countries and providing information and trading environments for 40,000 chemical suppliers across 450,000 products. Other major projects includes Binleys.com , a Health and Care Information services providing support for NHS and local government related data and documentation, and The Council for Licensed Conveyancers new website theclc.gov.uk.
