Competent Adviser is pleased to announce the appointment of Christine Chow as our IFA Product Manager. Christine brings over 20 years of Financial Services industry experience across a wide range of regulated environments.
She has specialised in the fields of Training and Competence as well as Learning and Development. In her previous role as L&D Manager for a large mutual insurer, Christine was responsible for the introduction of e learning, and she chose to use Competent Adviser. Christine saw Competent Adviser as a key strategic development for the organisation and excellent value for money.
She felt that it provided up-to-date generic and company specific information at the touch of a key board for staff across the UK, and enabled the L&D team to streamline annual T&C knowledge re-validations thus greatly reducing the disruption to advisers and their businesses. The system also facilitated pre-course learning for new and developing advisers as well as enabling field supervisory staff to provide up-to-the-minute records of work undertaken.
We believe that Christine's "hands on" experience of successfully launching Competent Adviser will be of immense value to all our existing and new customers.
